It is recommended that you focus your search around the Bloomsbury area,
and choose a hotel located close to the Institute of Education. A good guide
is that the postcode is likely to begin with WC1. Please see the following
website for exact location of the Institute of Education http://www.ioe.ac.uk/locationMap.
The Institute of Education offers a preferred list of hotels with discounted
rates. You need to download the hotel booking form [download
form as PDF] and deal directly with the booking agency. Please note
there is no guarantee that this method offers the cheapest price for a particular
hotel.
The Royal National
Hotel and the Tavistock
Hotel are popular tourist hotels, close to the Institute of Education
(only 50 to 100 metres away).
Imperial Hotel, Bedford Hotel, President Hotel and County hotel are also

About ERIDOB
European Researchers in Didaktik of Biology (ERIDOB)
- ERIDOB aims to bring together researchers in the teaching and learning of Biology from all European countries in order to share current research, to develop a greater awareness of the diversity of research traditions within Europe and to provide opportunities for the discussion of issues relevant to biology education and biology education research.
- ERIDOB is an informal group of researchers held together by the aims above. To date it is not an association with a membership and/or membership fees.
- An academic committee, with no two members being from the same country, is appointed by the participants of an ERIDOB conference and is responsible for the next ERIDOB conference.
- ERIDOB conferences take place every two years, alternately to the conferences of the ESERA. They are organised by a local committee.
The local committee of a conference and the secretary in charge of it are responsible for the conference proceedings.
